2020 has been a wild election year.
Public polling data showing Joe Biden leading Donald Trump may not be as accurate as the fake news media claims.
And Rush Limbaugh reported secret polling data that has Democrats terrified.
Limbaugh noted two developments that stunned him and led him to believe the Democrats are seeing internal polling data that is making the people that run Democrat campaigns nervous.
First, Limbaugh told his audience that the World Health Organization is now advising against lockdowns as a method to control the spread of the coronavirus.
Instead, the WHO is now advocating for the strategy many would have liked to see from the start which is protect the vulnerable, advise citizens to take basic health precautions and keep businesses open.
But what stunned Limbaugh was a piece in The New York Times by Donald McNeil Jr. entitled “A Dose of Optimism, as the Pandemic Rages On”.
McNeil is one of the ring leaders of the coronavirus hysterics club, but McNeil wrote that thanks to the Trump administration’s “Operation Warp Speed,” the pandemic would be brought to a close much sooner than anyone thought.
“Events have moved faster than I thought possible. I have become cautiously optimistic,” McNeil wrote. “Experts are saying, with genuine confidence, that the pandemic in the United States will be over far sooner than they expected, possibly by the middle of next year.”
McNeil explained that the administration’s vaccine development program worked above and beyond any expectations and an effective treatment would be developed and deployed before anyone initially predicted.
“Sometime in the next three months, health experts say, the F.D.A. is likely to begin granting approval to vaccines now in the works,” McNeil added. “Despite the chaos in day-to-day politics and the fighting over issues like masks and lockdowns, Operation Warp Speed — the government’s agreement to subsidize vaccine companies’ clinical trials and manufacturing costs — appears to have been working with remarkable efficiency. It has put more than $11 billion into seven vaccine candidates, and the F.D.A. has said it will approve any one that is at least 50 percent effective at preventing infection or reducing its severity.”
Limbaugh theorized that the only reason the WHO and New York Times were reversing course on lockdowns and predictions about the pandemic lasting for years was because of polling data.
Rush argued that “The New York Times and the World Health Organization, which means the global left is trying to take these issues off the table one way or another. If the pandemic is gonna be over soon, it means that we don’t need to have crisis after crisis-related policies regarding it. If we’re defeating it, if it’s naturally fading away on its own faster than anybody knew, great news. And if we don’t need to lockdown, the only reason these two things are happening is something is hurting Joe Biden out there. Something is hurting the Democrat campaign, the overall Democrat position here.”
Rush Limbaugh never thought he would see the day The New York Times praised anything connected to the Trump administration.
Everything that happens in an election year is about the election.
Rush Limbaugh is right in that there are no coincidences.
The New York Times and the WHO’s latest announcements about the course of the pandemic have to be examined in light of how both The Times and the WHO think they need to act to help Joe Biden win the election.
