Democrats are trying to say that the election is already over.
But these missing votes are showing how important election audits are.
Thousands of Trump ballots were found in this critical swing state.
Mail-in voting is less secure and more prone to errors than in-person voting.
The Democrats, however, encourage it because they feel that high turnout benefits them and they have been working overtime to use the coronavirus crisis as an excuse to change America’s voting systems.
Nancy Pelosi tried to hold coronavirus aid hostage unless states sent absentee ballots to all their voters and said that people should be voting from home.
The Democrats pushed for America to have a more insecure method of voting and now they don’t even want the results to be checked.
In Georgia, 2,600 ballots were found in Floyd County that favored Trump by a 2-1 ratio.
“Gabriel Sterling, who oversaw the implementation of the new statewide election system for the state, said that the unofficial breakdown of ballots was 1,643 for Trump, 865 for Biden and 16 for Libertarian Jo Jorgensen. The mistake happened because election officials reportedly missed uploading a memory card containing the votes to a ballot counting machine.” The Daily Wire reported.
They aren’t the only Georgia county to find missing ballots—Fayette County found 2,755 uncounted ballots.
“The reason you do an audit is to find this kind of thing,” said Gabriel Sterling, the state’s voting system manager.
“The breakdown of the uncounted ballots was 1,577 for Trump, 1,128 for Biden, 43 for Libertarian Jo Jorgensen, and seven write-in votes,” the Washington Examiner reported.
And now a third Georgia county is investigating whether they lost hundreds of votes on a missing memory card.
Secretary of State official Gabriel Sterling “said they are also investigating a potential memory card with 224 votes on it in Walton County that may have been missed,” WSB-TV reported.
Currently Joe Biden has a 13,000 vote lead over Trump in Georgia.
These results aren’t enough alone to change Georgia’s results;however, it shows that there were errors in the way the election was handled.
“The Georgia Secretary of State is asking for the executive director of the Floyd County Board of Elections, Robert Brady, to step down after 2,600 ballots were left uncounted prior to the county’s initial certification,” Fox 5 Atlanta reported. “The error was discovered on Sunday during the third day of the state’s audit.”
The recount also is significant in terms of the Senate majority.
GOP Sen. David Perdue won his election but because he failed to win 50% of the vote, he has been forced by state law into a runoff election in January. Perdue is only 14,000 votes away from securing the Republicans a Senate majority.
The election irregularities are making many Americans feel that the election results can’t be trusted.
