President Trump is in the fight of his political life against Joe Biden.

Trump remained locked in several legal battles over the outcome of the 2020 presidential election.

But the President just made one concession announcement that stunned America.

With the final outcome of the 2020 presidential election remaining a matter of intense debate between incumbent President Donald Trump and Democratic challenger Joe Biden, a series of lawsuits have been filed by Trump’s campaign in multiple key tossup states.

Trump’s campaign is currently working to fight Biden in Pennsylvania, Arizona, Wisconsin, and Georgia, which collectively hold enough electoral votes to determine the winner of the election.

And while the Electoral College won’t formally meet until December to elect the next President, liberal mainstream media outlets across the country have already declared Joe Biden to be the winner.

But there’s only one problem.

Trump continues to fight the election results in these states, claiming that fraud and voting irregularities are responsible for Biden’s apparent victories in each of these critical swing states.

But while Trump continues to pursue legal challenges to these states’ presidential results, he’s also signaled that he’s ready to hand power over to Biden in January if his efforts ultimately come up short.

In a move that stunned much of the country, Trump announced this week that he’s directing the GSA, the key government agency dealing with presidential inaugurations and transferring power from one president to the next, to begin the process of formally initiating a Biden transition.

The New York Times reports, “President Trump’s government on Monday authorized Joseph R. Biden Jr. to begin a formal transition process after Michigan certified Mr. Biden as its winner, a strong sign that the president’s last-ditch bid to overturn the results of the election was coming to an end.”

In his tweet, Mr. Trump said that he had told his officials to begin “initial protocols” involving the handoff to Mr. Biden “in the best interest of our country.”

Trump is never known for giving up and throwing in the towel.

Which is why his latest decision to open up the transition process stunned much of the country.

“Our case STRONGLY continues, we will keep up the good fight, and I believe we will prevail!” Trump tweeted. “Nevertheless, in the best interest of our Country, I am recommending that Emily and her team do what needs to be done with regard to initial protocols, and have told my team to do the same.”

But rather than caving to the Democrats and their allies in the media, Trump is simply doing what’s best for the nation, while he awaits the outcome of the various lawsuits his campaign is engaged in in multiple states.

In the end, Trump could still win the election.

But if he ultimately comes up short and loses the election to Biden, he can always run for a second term in 2024, which new polling shows he would be a favorite to win.
